Notre chaîne de Radio-Télévision

Radio-Télévision d'Aigues-Mortes (RTAM) broadcasts videos and podcasts online. These have attracted several thousand listeners since the channel’s launch in 2012.

In 2015, the channel launched “RTAM WORLD”, which enables certain programmes to be broadcast in English.

In 2016, RTAM joined DMF (Diffusion Micro Francophone), which enables the production of joint programmes aimed at audiences across all French-speaking micronations that are members of the Organisation de la MicroFrancophonie (OMF). Gérard Dardé, a director and citizen of the Principality, was appointed head of the channel. He produced several editions of the news programme ‘Téléniouz’, significantly improving production quality thanks to his film crew. His departure abroad marked the end of an era for the channel, which would have to wait until 2020 and the new management of Damien Trescartes to regain real momentum.

In August 2018, RTAM joined the micronational multimedia platform M.NAT.MEDIA. This platform continues to broadcast three micronational channels across Europe and North America, utilising more sophisticated technical resources.

In 2020, the Prince’s Office responded to the Prince’s wish to develop RTAM. A budget was allocated to launch a fully-fledged online channel, serving as a leading source of information on micronational activity, whilst also covering news from the Principality of Aigues-Mortes. Management of the channel was entrusted to Damien Trescartes (alias Damien Delaniouz), who launched a news journal, the “Micro Journal”, and a news magazine entitled “Microcosme” focusing on micronations and the people behind them. As for ‘RTAM WORLD’, Damien Trescartes entrusted ‘Micro News’, an English-language micronational news journal, to Philomena Mc Hugh.

On 17 May 2020, a new media brand was launched, heralding the revival of RTAM and RTAM WORLD.

On 30 September 2020, RTAM acquired the domain name: rtam.tv to provide access to its online broadcasts.

On 1 March 2021, the channel launched the programme ‘Chroniques de l'Eurovision’ in collaboration with two specialists in the world’s biggest song contest. This is the first entertainment programme produced by RTAM, featuring interviews with personalities who have taken part in the contest, anecdotes and much more.

On 17 March 2021, the name and logo of RTAM – Radio Télévision d'Aigues-Mortes – were registered as an audiovisual trademark in the INPI register.

On 21 June 2021, the broadcast of the interview with the royal couple to mark the tin jubilee of the Principality of Aigues-Mortes broke the channel’s viewing record, racking up 5,300 views within the first 24 hours.

On 3 February 2022, the channel surpassed 1,000 subscribers on YouTube.

2023 marked the arrival of artificial intelligence. It was the only micronational channel to cover both MicroCon conferences in Chicago and Ypres, Belgium.

On 3 May 2024, the channel introduced a new visual identity to modernise its image.

In 2025, the channel partnered with MicroCon 2025 in Montreal to produce several video interviews with participants. It also partnered with the Micro-Euro-Summit 2025 in Romkerhall, Germany. This confirms the channel’s international standing.
