Jean-Emanuel de Dovimaldi-Nassor
Crown Prince of Aigues-Mortes

Biography
Emanuel de Dovimaldi-Nassor, known as Jean-Emanuel, Crown Prince of Aigues-Mortes, was born on 28 October 2002 in L’Isle-Adam (France). He grew up in the Val d’Oise, with his father, a helicopter pilot, and his mother, a flight attendant. Emanuel has a younger sister.
In 2013, he and his family moved to Marrakech (Morocco), where they lived as expatriates for three years.
It was during this time that he began learning to fly light aircraft.
On his return to France, in Toulouse, he founded the Principality of Bérémagne (a micronation) with friends from secondary school, which they administered together from 2018 to 2024. Bérémagne grew, joined the Organisation de la MicroFrancophonie, and took part in various inter-micronational meetings during which the young Prince Emanuel met the princely couple of Aigues-Mortes as well as government officials.
Emanuel was a member of the Council of the Organisation de la MicroFrancophonie from 2022 to 2024.
In 2023, he was approached by the staff of His Serene Highness the Prince of Aigues-Mortes, who was at the time seeking a new Crown Prince, as Prince Jean-Rosé had renounced his place in the line of succession to the throne. Following numerous official procedures aimed at determining the future of Bérémagne, Emanuel was then taken under the wing of a tutor, tasked with teaching him the customs, history and distinctive features of the Principality of Aigues-Mortes. At the same time, the young prince was invited to meet the citizens of Aigues-Mortes, notably during the 2024 Vélos Fleuris festival. At the end of this process, which lasted nearly a year, he was officially presented to the General Assembly of Citizens by Prince Jean-Pierre IV on 16 June 2024, and was approved by 97% of the vote, with a 70% turnout.
Since then, he has been known as His Serene Highness Prince Jean-Emanuel de Dovimaldi-Nassor, Crown Prince of Aigues-Mortes. He is a Commander of the Grand Princely Order of the Flamingo.
Prince Jean-Emanuel has been studying Music and Musicology at the University of Paris-Sorbonne since 2023. With a degree in History (bilingual in English), he is passionate about music and is studying the organ. He has been a private pilot since 2019 and, since 2020, has held the Certificate of Aptitude for Aeronautical Teaching. Since then, he has been teaching at a secondary school in the Toulouse region.
In 2025, he was appointed Secretary to the Prince for Foreign Affairs.
